The Case of the Christmas Camel....

I cased this camel from Ellen Kemper (she does amazing punch art!) to give to my Mom for Christmas.
I was running short on time, so I used snail to stick him to a kiwi kiss scallop square (created using the bigz die from stampin' Up! 115950  $29.95) I then used a 3.5" x 7" piece of whisper white folded in half and attached it to the kiwi square and the real red square, to make it into a card.
As promised there will be some sneak peaks coming up soon for the Stampin' Royalty Challenge blog! (I just need to finish them first!)

Some of the beautiful Christmas cards I received!

I received this beautiful card from Ann Driscoll, a very talented demonstrator in Red Deer, Alberta. She is my upline's, upline's, upline's, upline! (say that five times fast!)

This great cards was given to me by my upline Angela McKay, I just love the design! She is so very talented, and have I mentioned an amazing upline!

This beautiful sparkly card was given to me by Sabriena Satchwell, one of my sidelines. I love the patterned pines set, and the colours are just gorgeous!

And last, but definately not least- this great card made by another of my sidelines Sandra Farrell.
I believe I'm going to have to get the baroque motifs stampset now...  :-)

Thanks ladies for your inspiring cards!
and thank-you for stopping by!

Beautiful Christmas ornament!

I wanted to share this beautiful ornament with you! I made this at my upline Angela Mckay's using classic re-inkers and glitter! then a simple rub on and some ribbon, so easy yet so very pretty! I think I will be making some for next year to add to my tree. You can get the clear ornaments from your local craft store and then drop 30 or so droplets of reinker in and swirl to get good coverage, then add 1 tsp of glitter and shake to coat, as simple as that!
Thanks for dropping by! Merry Christmas!

SPCC #28

It's been awhile since I've participated in a challenge- so I thought I would give it a go this week.

Since it's so close to Christmas, I've been so busy and I've put away all my card making stuff to make room for all the wrapping! So I decided to do this challenge using MDS!

Here is my entry for SPCC #28 using MDS....

Now for something completely different!

I thought I would share another one of my hobbies- beading. I made these flowers for my Upline- Angela McKay.

I learned how to make these flowers quite a few years ago. The technique is called French Beading, and involves stringing seed beads onto wire and wrapping them in certain ways to make petals and then forming them into flowers.

Punch art little robins!

I cased this card from Ruth M. and decided to make it a little smaller, to fit a standard card.
The robins are so easy to make and so cute! They only take 2 punches! the 1 3/8" circle punch and the Five petal flower punch. I used the stampset Season of Joy to make the little branches and the feet are made using a stampin write marker. Thanks for stopping by!

Craft Fair pictures!

Here is a picture of the table we had set up for the Harry Jerome Craft fair. We had a really good day, and enjoyed meeting new customers and old friends! Mom and I had an awesome time! I'm going to be posting more of the cards that I made for the fair over the next few weeks, as things gear up for Christmas I will be getting more and more busy and will have less time to craft! I'm going to be taking a small break from my SU duties until the new year- but you are more than welcome to shop online through my Demonstrator Website!  I'll also be advertising the next few sales aswell. Did you know that if you order online you can have your order shipped directly to you! :)
I hope you're having an excellent weekend, and I'll have some more pictures up for Monday!
